NVEF Programs ~ Change for Kids ~ Classroom Supplies and Volunteers

CHANGE 4 KIDS is a community driven project involving individuals, local businesses and service organizations working in partnership to provide basic school supplies to students of the Napa Valley Unified School District and to increase volunteerism in the classroom.

Our Teacher Resouce Center is currently closed for the summer. We'll see you again in the fall!
In the fall, once your Principal has registered your school with Change 4 Kids, please email us your top 3 appointment preferences, we will confirm your appointment time via email. We look forward to meeting you!

|
CHANGE 4 KIDS projects include:
1) Back to school bargain shopping by members of the community via email blasts
2) Coin canister placement in retail businesses to generate ‘Change 4 Kids’
3) Themed supply drives involving organizations & services groups
4) Long term relationships with businesses for in kind and monetary support
5) Grant requests
6) More campaigns and fundraising events as project grows
7) Classroom volunteer program matching teacher needs with community volunteers.
CHANGE 4 KIDS’ long-term vision is to open a permanent, sustainable teacher resource center where teachers can shop for needed school supplies free of charge. Our successful, volunteer driven local model is Community Projects.

CHANGE 4 KIDS is an opportunity for the entire community to show our support for teachers, students and education. This project will be successful due to commitments of long-term financial support, supply donations, and volunteer effort.
Tax deductible monetary donations are greatly appreciated and checks can be written to: NVEF Change 4 Kids and mailed to NVEF, 2425 Jefferson Street, Room 105.
